Artificial graphene is an emerging multidisciplinary field which allows to investigate the physics of massless Dirac fermions (transport, topological phases, edge states, etc.) in regimes that are difficult to achieve in natural condensed-matter systems.
The aim of this workshop is to gather both theorists and experimentalists working within wave propagation in artificial honeycomb lattices to exchange new ideas and share experiences. Various topics will be covered from graphene-like structures (in a broadest sense) and relativistic equation emulations to new wave transport phenomena. The various emulation options ranging from photonics to cold atoms via microwaves and acoustics will be addressed. |
