This three-day meeting, which will take place in the Instituto de Ciencias Físicas of the University of Mexico in Cuernavaca, is devoted to theoretical and mathematical aspects of wave physics and physical asymptotics, and is held in honour of Michael Berry on the occasion of his 70th birthday. Michael's contributions have been seminal across the gamut of wave and ray dynamics, especially in quantum chaology, geometric phases and the subleties of optical interference. Submissions for oral and poster presentations are warmly invited. Graduate students and postdocs are particularly encouraged to apply. |
