Introduction

During May, June and July we expect to gather small groups of researchers and graduate students, to exchange results and engage in joint work in:

1) Models of optics by Hamiltonian systems
2) Phase space in geometric, wave, quantum, and discrete optical models
3) Representation of beams, fields, and signals through Wigner functions
4) Group-theoretical properties of the Wigner function

There will be seminar and working rooms available, computer links to the world, and plenty of time to discuss and collaborate.

We can use CIC funds for stays of over one month, and other monies could be marshalled if your stay is over two weeks; exceptionally, we may cover air tickets. We do hope for a pleasant and congenial crowd of no more than 7 people (on the average) to interact, perhaps give a lecture, and gain coauthors, colleagues, students and friends.
